What I liked

The team was all very kind and allowed for preference when making your schedule. It was a cool experience to see how the pandemic created a large customer base in the Shop From Home department that did not exist prior to it. Furthermore, due to the pandemic, a bonus was paid to new hires and an increased hourly wage was given to all employees.

What I wish was different

I wish there was a little more communication between managers and the associates. Specifically, I felt a little out of the loop in terms of who my department manager was and who the people in my department were as there was a lot of hiring changes due to the pandemic.

Always try and be positive during your shift and be on time!

Flexibility of hours.

What I wish was different

The pay was quite low which was expected with any entry level grocery job. The response to covid-19 also seemed to be minimal.

Advice

Communicate with your managers, be on time, and try your best to deal with customers.

I enjoyed the atomsphere and learning alot about the food and prices.

What I wish was different

The hours sometimes and the crow it was busy sometimes. Also having to stand as a cashier.

Advice

Just try it. Its a really good experience just to have the experience in terms of communicating with other people.
