I got some real, hands-on experience with every aspect of software engineering in an Agile environment. I learned a ton, and everyone there was happy to help me improve my skills and learn new things.
What I wish was different
There were some issues with my email not working for a while due to some technical difficulties switching to a parent company's email servers, but that was cleared up after a couple weeks.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask questions or ask for help. The full-time employees at a company know that you're an intern, and they know that you are still learning. They will usually be glad to help you out.
