I loved being at a children's hospital and getting to see their lives and their families' lives change with the help of the staff at Shriners. I loved how I learned something new every day and how much hands-on experience I received!
What I wish was different
I wish it had been more of a formal internship.
Advice
I highly recommend volunteering with Shriners and getting involved as soon as possible! Everyone there is so friendly and it is such a warm and inviting environment especially considering it is a hospital!
