I was invited to sit in on meetings, I was always allowed to sit in on meetings, and contributed to an organization with a positive mission to make the world a better place. The staff were very pleasant and worked well together.
What I wish was different
There were not as many opportunities to prove myself, other than completing the tasks delegated to me as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Advice
Try plenty of different sorts of tasks while working with S.U.N.! They offer plenty of projects that interns can work on, and many are not all-consuming, giving you the opportunity to try your hand at many kinds of tasks.
