I loved the people and the extreme amount of flexibility in the internship. The learning experiences were good as well but it was great being able to have fun while learning.
What I wish was different
The assignments are a bit vague and it can get a bit slow at times. I would have preferred assignments directions being more specific. The manager was also absent most of the time and it would have been better if he was there to assist and answer questions
Advice
Most of the learning outcomes are achieved indirectly. Direct learning was minimal so be prepared to analyze what you are doing to teach yourself something useful.

What I wish was different
I wish I had more guidance from UNC for help and support for getting my internship. Going to the career center was a great thing for me to do. I learned about Handshake from the counselor which led me to find my internship.
Advice
Reach out for help and develop networking while looking for an internship or a job.
