I learned how to use Quickbooks which has been very beneficial because I work with it a lot now in my current job. I also learned a lot of principles of accounting which helped me this semester when I actually took the accounting module. I also got to work a lot in Excel which is SUCH a necessary skill to work in the business world.
What I wish was different
I wish that the internship had been a little better organized. A lot of the time I would be sitting around waiting for my boss to come up with something to do so a little more structure would have been nice.
Advice
Really take advantage of your personal network to find jobs and internships and don't be afraid to ask someone you know to reach out to someone else.
