Southeastern Ohio Legal Services (SEOLS) seeks attorneys with a demonstrated commitment to making a difference in the lives of indigent people and their communities for positions in its Athens, Chillicothe, New Philadelphia, Portsmouth, and Steubenville offices. SEOLS serves low income citizens in 30 counties in southeastern/central Ohio and is one component of Ohio State Legal Services Association (OSLSA) which fights poverty and its impact through its field programs, SEOLS and The Legal Aid Society of Columbus, and its statewide advocacy program, the Ohio Poverty Law Center. NOTE: The attorney in our New Philadelphia office would have a focus on holistically advocating for domestic violence survivors, in addition to general poverty law representation and advocacy.
