SWFWMD offered a real world hands on experience in the environmental science field.

Working for the Government means having to deal with Governmental processes which slow things down

What I liked
I loved every aspect of the internship. Whether I was traveling in the field through dense wetlands or I was at the office working alongside my coworkers, who felt like family to me, I loved every day I worked.
What I wish was different
One thing I wish was different was more hours to work, instead of a 25 hour limit per week.
Advice
I would like to advise to any student that no matter the internship, you will find things you love and dislike about it. At the Southwest Florida Water Management District, the good times MUCH outweighed the down times.
