What I liked

I liked the opportunity to work on and analyze different prospective investment properties and learn which data is useful and how it can be used to gain insight into which properties have a high investment upside. I also have worked on emailing brokers and property owners to obtain data which is not publicly available.

What I liked

I appreciated having the opportunity to make use of the Microsoft Power tools, such as PowerBI and PowerAutomate, in order to deal with real-life situations during my internship. The internship allowed me to use creative thinking and initiative, in order to resolve any arising problems with the technical infrastructure of the company.

What I wish was different

I wish that the communication had been more clear at times. There were times when my manager and I had different ideas in mind, but could not communicate with each other effectively, thus wasting time on my behalf trying to understand the assigned project. Personally, I would prefer involving a greater amount of diagrams or screenshots when communicating.

Advice

I would say it would be extremely useful to gain some basic skills with the Microsoft Power Platform, including tools such as Microsoft PowerBI and PowerAutomate. In my experience, it was a rather easy skill to acquire, yet one which turned out to be extremely helpful for my internship.
