About StinkySocks Hockey

StinkySocks Hockey was founded in 2006 with the goal of providing a unique hockey experience to a small group with a shared mindset of what a recreational adult hockey experience should be; consistently well organized, competitive games with appropriate leveling and “no jerks”. Over a decade later, we offer players in the Boston area approximately 3,000 games annually based on those same values. The StinkySocks Hockey difference starts with our players and is ensured by the commitment of our office and game staff. We also believe that all sports, including hockey, should transcend differences in background and lifestyle.

StinkySocks Hockey offers individuals and groups the opportunity to get on the ice on a game to game basis though our No Commitment Hockey program. Players can access a series of those games with a SSH Season Pass or an unlimited amount of those games with a monthly Unlimited Membership. Full teams can compete in our “Bring Your Own Team” Leagues and tournaments.

StinkySocks Hockey is a part of a collection of hockey-related brands including sister company, Bruins Daily, an NHL credentialed media organization covering the Boston Bruins. Our office is located in a unique industrial building on Congress Street in Boston’s vibrant Fort Point/Seaport neighborhood. The informal design of our office matches the casual atmosphere of our company. Employees are encouraged to bike to work or access public transportation via nearby South Station (red line, commuter rail, Amtrak, silver line).

Operations and Customer Support

November 2018 - November 2019 Boston, MA
“Working at StinkySocks has been a pleasure. I very much enjoyed the variability of day-to-day operations and wide range of responsibilities. My boss was willing to work with my schedule and I was able to work remotely over breaks and weekends (when applicable). My work was independent and made a difference in the company, so I felt like a valuable component. The company culture was very laid-back and cooperation-based. ”
