What I liked
Stolar is a small office which allows interns to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of analyst work. I was able to greatly improve my financial modeling and Excel skills. I also learned a lot about real estate and finance in general. The workload that I was able to take on at Stolar was a great talking point when interviewing for financial services internships for the following summer.
- The team is overall very knowledgeable and very helpful in explaining concepts such as valuation, financing, etc.
- Inclusive and supportive environment.
- I felt like my work was meaningful and that I was able to contribute to the firm during my internship.
- Hoboken is a great city to work in. Great location and convenient commute if from New Jersey.
- Hours are also very reasonable.
