What I liked

The best part of being a BM for Student Painters, is that, I was given the ability to open and run my very first successful business! It was a great experience and I gained a lot of useful knowledge.

What I wish was different

The only thing I would want to be different, is that the preseason falls right during tax season. I was a full time student, working 35-40 hours a week at the tax office, and running my Student Painters Business. So, I was super busy but still managed to be successful!

Advice

A piece of advice would be to take the internship opportunity! You will work first hand on everything. You’re not doing work that no one wants to do or getting coffee for people in the office. You get to experience Entrepreneurship first hand!

I liked the hard work and the satisfaction I got after completing a job. I also enjoyed learning how to manage a crew.

I wish the communication between me and my superiors had been a little better in the beginning.
