I enjoyed how friendly the managers were - they told me when they appreciated the work I did. I also enjoyed most of the interactions I had with the residents, they are so sweet!
What I wish was different
I wish there were more care managers. I know it is common for retirement/nursing homes to be understaffed, but I believe if there were more people to assist residents, the quality of life would significantly increase. It would also create less stress for the employees.
Advice
Be ready to be on your feet and lifting and running around all day. It is a tiring job, but also rewarding.
