What I liked

Pretty much everything. It was an amazing internship. My superiors really cared about my growth and they constantly were trying to make sure that they were meeting my needs. They also pushed me to learn as much as possible and allowed me to truly dive into the business. I gained so much from this internship. Whether it was the amount of marketing knowledge I received, or the amount of confidence I gained, I grew so much by doing this internship.

What I wish was different

The only thing I wish was different was the location. I had to commute from to Denver to Boulder everyday and that did become tiring, but it was worth it and there is no such thing as a perfect job/internship.

Advice

I would suggest that every college student do an internship. Obviously aim to work for a company that you can see yourself working for in the future, but no matter where you intern at you will definitely gain something. The internship I did this past summer was my 3rd internship, and I gained something different from each one. I never thought I'd end up wanting to work in the renewable energy industry, but after doing this internship, I definitely can see myself in this industry. My point is that you never know what you're really interested in, until you try it out!
