There were relatively few interns so I felt very integrated into the company and I think I got a good idea of what the company culture was actually like. Everyone was so welcoming and excited to meet us and offered us help, even those that were not assigned to mentor us.

What I liked
I enjoyed being in an environment that promoted teamwork and transparency. I also learned a lot from working closely with many talented individuals.
What I wish was different
If possible, I wish we could have had the option to choose some of the projects that we were working on all summer instead of being assigned to them.
Advice
Do not be afraid to ask questions at any time. It’s important to understand all the requirements of a project or assignment in order to execute it correctly.

What I liked
Great opportunity to address a real need at the company - not assigned to side projects/ coffee fetcher. Surescripts invested in interns by teaching them about their products, as well as technology/operations at Surescripts.
What I wish was different
I wish recruiting had started earlier, posting wasn't listed until Jan/Feb. More attention paid to making sure you understand new languages
