I enjoyed the personal aspect of it. I had to speak to many people a day and I believe that has helped me with my social skills.
What I wish was different
I wish that I would have worked with a coworker more often, I was the only one working/ closing most nights.
Advice
I would advise those to get a job working with people, or a similar experience. It really helps with personal skills and teaches you the value of money..

What I liked
I loved the customers; I liked putting a smile on people’s faces.
What I wish was different
The job wasn’t too bad, but dumpsters were disgusting and the store I worked at did not have tops on their trash cans.
Advice
Find a job that’s right for you, but also rely on God. Seeing all those customers faces in SweetFrogs made me realize that I’m not the only person in the world having a problem. Love God, love yourself and love your job or find something to love about it.

What I liked
The job keeps you busy and the customers are usually very nice.
What I wish was different
I accepted the job under the condition that I could go from part time to full time during the summer. When I brought this up later the manager scoffed and said "that's not gonna happen" despite my being a good employee. There was also a lot of employee drama.
Advice
Be ready to deal with drama and changing hours.

What I liked
It had great, flexible hours and I was able to work as much as I wanted.
What I wish was different
The job itself was much more labor intensive than I previously thought it would be. I wish I had been a little more prepared for that.
Advice
Wear shoes you don't mind getting dirty and be patient with the customers!

Assistant Manager
November 2017 • Richmond, VA
What I liked
There's a lot to like at this job, starting with great leadership from the managing level to the administrative/owner level. There is a great deal of flexibility in the schedule, a lot of available hours for those who desire them, and a pleasant work environment, always. Not the most challenging job, either--especially not at the Team Member level (which I formerly was in 2017). However, I have enjoyed the increase in responsibility as I've ascended to the position of assistant manager, and it only makes me appreciate the job even more!
What I wish was different
Nothing!
Advice
Don't eat too much frozen yogurt, focus on your routine each hour during your shift, and when there's nothing else to do, always go and find something to do!
