What I liked

as an account manager i really enjoyed the fast paced environment as well as the interpersonal people skills required of the position. I was constantly in contact with a wide variety of people from C-suite executives to young finance professionals looking for their first jobs.

What I wish was different

i wish i had a job on the business side of the healthcare industry since that is the field i am currently pursing. i have a business degree from UCF and now i am pursing a nursing degree at USF St Pete. It would have been nice to have some hands on experience in that industry to learn a little more of the terminology.

Advice

I would say to anyone to who is taking a job that might be in their immediate interests to just learn all that you can, asks many questions and just be a sponge. soak in your environment, create a new social network with people because you never know if you might need their help in the future. the larger your social network the more social capital youll have and in turn the more successful you will be in your future careers.
