The community/family that was created by the admin team and levels of support that were offered to staff and campers. Working with campers with Autism in a place that truly supports those individuals and allows them to be themselves is really rare and it was amazing.
What I wish was different
Nothing, summer 2018 and 2019 were the best experiences I could have had to prepare to teach special education in the future.
Advice
Bring stationary to write letters, you don’t have much phone access! However, the environment is accommodating for those with family issues/other obligations that need access to phones/computers.
