TATU Adventures is a travel company that makes a difference. We are a branch of TATU Project, a non-profit organization working towards the sustainable development of the rural communities of Msitu wa Tembo and Londoto in northern Tanzania. We are a social business meaning that all profits from our tours and daytrips directly support the long-term sustainability of TATU Project. This means that by choosing TATU Adventures, travelers directly support TATU Project’s work.
We are dedicated to providing travelers with authentic and unforgettable travel experiences, whilst contributing to the responsible tourism offering in and around Moshi. TATU means ‘three’ in Swahili and in line with the slogan for the United Nations International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development, the 3 pillars this represents for TATU Adventures are: TRAVEL, ENJOY, RESPECT.
