What I liked

The work culture is amazing. Watching each member of the staff living up to the core values of the organization is incredible. It pushes me to strive for excellence and the team always celebrates each and every accomplishment. It's a work environment I don't think you can find anywhere else!

What I wish was different

None, I really admire the workplace and work culture as it is.

Advice

If you want a job where you continue to grow in different areas such as effective communication, working in a collaborative environment and everything about working in a professional office environment, this is a great place to start!

What I liked

Since beginning my internship at Teach One to Lead One, I have grown all around. I've grown in character, and I've grown as a professional. It's impossible not to grow in this environment, especially since the T1L1 team is very intentional about pouring into its staff and interns. In just four months, I've become a mentor to high school students, a certified Youth Development Professional, a voice of opinion in meetings, and more.

What I wish was different

The only thing I would change is the length of my drive. My drive to the office amounts to 1 hour and 20 minutes on average each way. I make this drive Monday through Friday, and yes, the drive is tough. However, it is absolutely worth it to me. I'm in a place with I am valued and where my growth as a person and as a professional is important to those around me.
