What I liked

I loved their internship program as a whole and how much effort they put in to keep us engaged and get us to know each other even with everything being moved online. I also loved how they made us feel welcome, valued our opinions, and gave us opportunities to grow throughout the summer.

What I wish was different

I wish it had been in person!

Advice

Take on all of the opportunities they provide! They want you to learn as much as possible.

What I liked

The city of San Francisco was very fulfilling to my soul as it was rich in art and culture. The TechSoup environment was very friendly and every employee was helpful. The human resources department were very respective of all of the problems or ideas the interns had. Our managers supported our endavours and gave us really well constructed feedback to improve ourselves.

What I wish was different

I wish the marketing guidelines were a bit more inclusive of creative ideas but I also understand that companies need to have guidelines s that their work is representative of their culture and ethics.

Advice

I loved working in an environment where my creativity was challenged and I had to be creative within the guidelines of the brand so my advice would be to speak your mind out and try your best to mould your creative work into what you are hired to do (creativity can be moulded into anything once you put your mind to it).
