This internship was really insightful into what the day-to-day of a Marketing Director's role looks like and allowed me to explore different areas of marketing within the event planning and restaurant spaces.
The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, making it very easy to work in a team and develop myself professionally.
The Marketing Director was always willing to help answer my questions and continue a mentorship after my internship ended.
What I wish was different
Due to the internship being over the summer months and it is a relatively short length*, the projects I was working on were not taking the top priority. This means I was not able to see all of the projects I contributed to completed and have deliverable materials for my portfolio.
*The length is due to the TSH being flexible with my personal summer availability.
Advice
Really take advantage of the banks of knowledge around you and do not be afraid to ask questions.
