Quality Coordinator

February - May 2019 • Dallas, TX

What I liked

Independence, innovation welcome and the large number of opportunities in almost every state.

What I wish was different

Transparency & better communication from leadership including feedback. More genuine toward its mission and values. Corporate hierarchy atmosphere.

Advice

The opportunity is there. However, don’t take the corporation at face value. They can be ruthless with massive layoffs to maximize revenue. They are simply about money. But you will gain experience. Don’t intern here if you plan on bridging into a paid position and staying.

Pediatric Registered Nurse

July 2018 • Detroit, MI

What I liked

Pediatrics for my first nursing job! It was great to get the job I really wanted right off the bat.

What I wish was different

I work in Michigan. I miss the Chicago area and I wish I would have applied to jobs in other areas than just here

Advice

Open your mind to other jobs too! Plenty of friends of mine didn’t get what they thought their “dream job” but are perfectly happy where they are and discovered new passions. You never want to regret not trying.
