Visiting field projects, such as shelter homes for children affected by sexual exploitation, brothels, day centers for homeless children, and the Rohingya refugee camp. It was an eye-opening experience.
What I wish was different
I wish I had the opportunity to talk with and interview more people that were affected by sexual exploitation.
Advice
Keep an open mind and learn to be resilient. Especially as an International Affairs student, you need to be able to adjust to different cultures and environments.
