Post Silicon Validation Engineer

August 2023 • Palo Alto, CA

What I liked

I love the team. The team is always evolving, supportive, and friendly. I felt at east joining the team. My manager reached out to me weeks in advance and told me what I should expect in the team. The working environment is very team dependent, but everyone is very supportive and proud of what they've accomplished.

What I wish was different

I wish I know more about car manufacturing more before joining the team. My focus is on computer hardware design and SoC development and I didn't know much about the main business of the company. I learned a lot more about car manufacturing for beginning (Gigapress) to end (reliability testing).

Advice

Expect to work really hard, but it is all worth it. The company is young and evolving, so there is so much cool, creative, and challenging projects to do. There is always work, and you need to prioritize what to finish first. It's a nice jumping board to a stable future career.
