The leadership position I have and the appoutunities to build academic programs in Computer Science as well as to improve the learning environment for students. Also, the impact that a computer Science education could play in the region.
What I wish was different
I wish I could got to different restaurants and order without learning to know Spanish. I’m learning it, thought, to adapt to the situation and to engage with the community.
Advice
Be ready to be a leader in your field. This involved learning and axcelling not only in your academic dicepline but gaining the nessessary communication, team work, and leadership skills that the pluralistic environments require to be successful.
