The Arc of Rensselaer County is an association of people with disabilities, parents, professionals and community members dedicated to building the capacity of the community to fully include persons with disabilities. We are currently celebrating 65 years of providing Advocacy, Community, and Resources to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Since our founding in 1950 by a group of parents, The Arc has developed a rich array of supports to improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
The Arc of Rensselaer County is accredited by the Council on Quality and Leadership. Employees at The Arc of Rensselaer County are dedicated Human Service Professionals without whom the mission of the organization would not be possible to achieve.
