“I had a unique opportunity to participate in publishable research and interact with distinguished researchers and professors. I also had the opportunity to present my research in front of a large audience. I refined all of my laboratory skills in addition to learning many new skills. My time at the arboretum provided me with more knowledge in 10 weeks than I have gained in my many years of education. It was an experience I will cherish forever and I am grateful I had the chance to be a part of the Arnold Arboretum for one summer.”
