The ASCAP Foundation – the acronym stands for American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers – is a charity supported by donors like you, founded in 1975 with a bequest from Jack Norworth, writer of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame," to honor and support young songwriters. The ASCAP Foundation (TAF) supports music education programs in all genres that are national and regional in scope to develop the composers, songwriters, lyricists and music audiences of tomorrow.
