The work was creative and constructive. As I designed magazine layouts and adjusted existing layouts, the manager would give consistent feedback. It was also small so it was not stressful work.
What I wish was different
To have been able to work remotely would have been a great advantage. I could have gotten more work done than the few hours a week I had to be at the office.
Advice
As a graphic designer, your assignment may not be creating work from scratch but adjusting existing work that someone else started. Also, they may not have done it the way you would. So in short, be flexible and be prepared.
