Founded in 2016 by students and survivors, The Every Voice Coalition is a student, recent alum and survivor-led non-profit working to end campus sexual violence by passing student-written legislation on the state-level to prevent sexual violence on campuses and ensure support for student survivors. To date, Every Voice has:
- Passed student and survivor-written bills into law (MA, NH, CT, NV, IL, ME, OR and HI) which impact over 2 million students
- Trained over 65 fellows with the tools to be leaders in grassroots, legislative advocacy through their signature advanced civic engagement fellowships
- Expanded their movement into a total of 15 states and engaged over 16,000 students in their advocacy efforts
Not only is Every Voice creating monumental legislative change to end campus sexual violence but they are ensuring that a generation of young people is equipped and empowered to be leaders in the legislative process to make change and fight for their rights.
