What I liked

They had a great environment to learn about the process of taking patients to the back, and getting through the work up before the clinicians saw them. I was able to see how the entire process goes from the patient entering to leaving. I was able to learn about their electronic medical records system and learn how to use it.

What I wish was different

It was hard to get on the schedule sometimes, since they only allow two volunteers for the morning and evening shifts. They have two areas, nursing and administration, with two volunteers allowed in each area during the morning and evening shifts.

Advice

It is a great way to earn clinical experience and patient focused hours if you are seeking to go into a healthcare profession. A great way to learn how to take vitals and work with patients.
