This was a really great experience. I liked the management and I found my employer to be very supportive. Working with children all day can be difficult, but there were resources that made it easier. The Conservancy itself is beautiful and has many unique features that make it a great location to work at.

Advice
If you are hired as a Senior Counselor, make sure you make your lesson plans in advance! The work can pile up if you do not stay on top of it. Also, make sure to put yourself in the mindset of a camper when making your plans- for example, what would you find interesting if you were a camper? What would you find fun?
