About The Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum

The Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum is one of 14 Presidential Libraries under the management of the National Archives and Records Administration. Our mission is to preserve, protect, and educate the public about the more than 40 million pages of written documents, half-million photographs, 40,000 objects/artifacts, and 2,500 hours of video and audio recordings of the Carter administration (1977-1981).
