What I liked
Eight week mentored internship in semiconductor-related research, in addition to boot camp and hands-on training in semiconductor design, fabrication technologies, and exposure to various electron microscopy techniques
What I wish was different
I wish the internship had a bit more structure. There were some days where I felt I showed up and nothing was required, or I had to come up with my own learning experiences.
Advice
Be firm in what you want out of this type of internship as its largely researched based. NETWORK with everyone and collect information along the way as you will be presenting a final poster with what you learned during your time there.
