The Multicultural Institute (MI) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded in 1991. Our mission is to be a stepping stone that helps society transition immigrants from poverty and isolation to prosperity and participation.MI’s programs enhance educational, economic, and health opportunities, cultivate leadership development, and stimulate positive transformation of individuals, families, and communities.
MI provides services and assistance in three locations in three different counties; Alameda (Berkeley), Contra Costa (Richmond), and San Mateo (Redwood City/North Fair Oaks)
