I was able to make more political connections and broaden my knowledge of Ohio Legislation.
What I wish was different
I wish that I would have been able to continue working through the semester but my class schedule did not allow me to.
Advice
One piece of advice I would share is to speak to as many people as possible.

What I liked
I loved having the opportunity to work alongside Ohio State Representatives. I felt that I had an active role in ongoing policy and legislation. I was able to work with specific Representatives, including the Representative of my home district, as well as others within my political affiliation. I was able to work House Sessions, as well on specific projects for individual Representatives.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had the opportunity to work there for a longer amount of time. Forming relationships and networking takes time, and I felt that I would have benefitted from working for longer than just the summer.
Advice
My one piece of advice would be to apply yourself. Forming relationships, networking, and always offering assistance will earn you a positive and dependable reputation. If you give significant effort, you receive significant benefits.

What I wish was different
The summer I worked was rather slow: I simply wish there had been more going on.
