The Partnership was very invested in all of the interns and committed to making sure we grew both personally and professionally during our time there. They hosted many developmental workshops on topics such as resume building, public speaking, and how to best use Linked-In for networking. My assignments varied greatly, allowing me to expand my skills in a variety of areas and work with supervisors on different teams in the company.
What I wish was different
A lot of my work was typical "intern" assignments, such as making name tags, setting up rooms for events, checking guest lists, etc.
Advice
Apply everywhere! If something looks interesting, it could turn out to be a great opportunity. I had never heard of the Partnership before this summer but it turned out to be a great fit.
