Nothing I like it there. I still work there. Good part time job. If any La Salle students need a job its about 20 min away and its good hours friday, sat, and sunday.

Caddie
April 2017 • Flourtown, PA
What I liked
I was able to create my own schedule, allowing me to focus on my other job, as well as my golf game. Members are very generous, and I gained substantial insight into their careers.
What I wish was different
I wish I had caddied more. Sometimes when a caddie is not assigned a loop, he/she is still able to go the course and wait for a loop if one turns up. This shows dedication and puts more money in your pocket. I live about 45 minutes from the course, so it wasn't always easy to drive down there without knowing for sure that I was going to working. Sometimes you get down there and you don't get a loop. But as your reputation grows, so does the number of loops you caddie.
Advice
Always interact with the person you caddy for. You never know where that connection might lead to. I've known for several years that I want to work in the financial world, so whenever I discover I'm caddying for someone who works in that field, I ask questions, get their contact info, and do an extra good job.
