What I liked
Lots of interpersonal contact with my community, downtime for browsing the gigantic collection, and beautiful views from the building.
What I wish was different
It’s a lot of physical labor that’s hard on my body during the longer shifts.
Advice
Do it if you get an opportunity to! The library isn’t massive and the staff and supervisors are kind and accommodating.
