I liked the experience I got to have working in both set up/tear down of shows and running the audio for the house during shows. It was beneficial to get both experiences, especially when many people don't get the front of house experience for a while.

Advice
Don't be afraid not to know everything and ask questions. Things work smoother when you admit you don't know something.

What I liked
The entire experience was a blast. From the people I worked with to the work I was doing, every time I worked at The Sheldon it was an exciting experience.
What I wish was different
Less of a global pandemic. Although it was an ongoing struggle, The Sheldon managed to make things work within a safe and comfortable environment that didn't make me feel like my experience was hindered too much.
Advice
You won't know if you like or dislike something until you do it. My experience was purely hands-on and in the moment and that is exactly what I was hoping for. Although I may not like to do live sound as much as any other aspect of audio, I am grateful for this experience to know how I would feel about the live audio side of things.

What I liked
I liked the opportunity to make networking connections. I also enjoyed learning new things and what goes into putting on a concert. I also enjoyed the opportunity to see the acts perform at my location.
What I wish was different
I only wish that I had more time in my internship.
Advice
My advice would be to take advantage of the opportunity to get information from the people you met and work with. I got advice for my career because I asked.
