Snowpine Lodge is both the newest and oldest building in Alta, with a rich history to match. The original structure was erected as a general store in the mining industry era, and then became a skier’s lodge with its current name in 1938. Preserving many of the historic elements and part of the original building, Snowpine Lodge underwent a $50-million luxury renovation, reopening its doors in January 2019.
Situated slopeside with unparalleled access to Alta Mountain Ski Area in Utah, Snowpine Lodge features 54 luxurious guest rooms and suites; 14 deluxe dorm beds; Stillwell Spa; more than 10,000 square feet of flexible indoor/outdoor event space; two unique dining experiences at Swen’s Restaurant and The Gulch Pub; a fully stocked game room; a mountain-side pool and hot tubs, fitness center and yoga studio; outdoor firepits; ski lockers and Utah's oldest ski shop, the Deep Powder House Ski Shop.
