What I liked
Great experience overall, good look under the hood of a major entertainment convention, got to see the ins and outs of Live AV production
What I wish was different
Very messy internally, constantly picking up slack from the previous shift, non-welcoming environment, homo/transphobic environment
Advice
Don't take the job too seriously, learn to have fun and enjoy the convention

I wish there had been more support for volunteers such as cold water, tents for shade, and fans due to the extreme heat
Advice
Be sure to have good time management in order to make sure you are eating and have time to attend events during the convention.
