The flexibility of getting to pick and choose article assignments, I also like that it gives you an experience of writing at a paper while not being too overwhelming for beginners at first.

What I liked
I like the flexibility of the internship and how you can pick and choose when to write stories. Also I liked being able to report on the local area about local issues.
What I wish was different
I wish it was in person, but COVID really messed things up.
Advice
Try to write as many stories as possible, the more writing experience you get the better in the long run.

A lot of the times the stories are assigned to you, but if you find a story you would like to pitch, do it!
