I got to learn about mechanical engineering and particle physics. I also got machine shop and CAD experience. It really was a big learning experience for me.

What I liked
I enjoyed working with a new team and networking in my field of interest.
What I wish was different
I wish that I could have been there more often. I do not live in Arlington, so much of my work was done remotely.
Advice
I gained so much experience and insight working in this lab. It was a great experience to collaborate with another University's research team while gaining experience for graduate school. My advice is not to hesitate to reach out to get the experience you need.
