What I liked

I had the freedom to take control of the social media channels and implement my own strategy. They also offered a good deal of flexibility, which was appreciated.

What I wish was different

I wish that I would've been given more responsibilities, especially in event planning.

Advice

I didn't get this internship until the last minute because I was worried that a 10 day trip to Europe would make me less appealing than other candidates when applying for summer internships. The Waters was actually very flexible with me, and I would recommend to others that they still apply to the internships they want most, and to just be open about any other commitments you may have. If the company wants to hire you, they will work with you on it.
