What I liked

I loved the philosophy of the school and the kids. The children at this specific child care facility are encouraged to learn on their own through exploring and other means. It is beautiful to watch and the children are such a joy.

What I wish was different

I wish that the administration had seemed more caring about the wellbeing of their employees in terms of scheduling, personal issues, and pay.

Advice

It takes a special human being to care for small children & babies. It takes patience and understanding and a mindset of perseverance. So I would advise anyone seeking to work in early childhood education or childcare in general to go into the job with an open mind and an open heart, because it isn't easy, but it is so rewarding.
