What I liked
I loved the fact that I had my own class, that I got to have my own lesson plans, build relationships with the kids meaning I get to understand them and see how each child had different views. Also that we did fun activities such as art, dance, sports, and even small events. This job is part of what I would like to do as a career so leaving my old job was a risk to trying something I actually want to do. Finally being a mentor to the kids and being a good role model made the kids feel that they can trust me and be able to speak out when things were bad or they had a bad day. Moreover, even ask for advice or questions about college, university and career choices.
