TBS Int'l was a great experience for those interested in knowing more about broadcast journalism and foreign policy research. It's a small office of only 6-7 employees so you are able to build relationships and connections with all levels at the bureau. You also get to attending incredibly interesting events and panels.
What I wish was different
I wish I was able to get an even closer look into what goes into news production from start to finish. That said, you are still able to see how your own work is presented on TV as the finished product which is very cool.
Advice
Take full advantage of the networking opportunities available to you if you want to go into communications or journalism.
