I really liked how I was able to dive directly in and do a lot of hands on work. I was also able to lead my own projects and worked with fairly little supervision. The work that I did actually made a difference for the town as the Storm-water Asset Inventory map I made using ArcGIS, helped the town obtain storm-water permits from the state.
What I wish was different
I wish that there would have been more organization and more instruction as to what I needed to be doing at times.
Advice
Don't be afraid to try and learn new things, like i did by learning ArcGIS, as it offers a great opportunity to progress and grow.
